About Us

Overview

Alio Gold is a Canadian gold mining company engaged in production, development and exploration in Mexico and the USA. Its principal assets include the producing Florida Canyon Mine in Nevada, USA, the San Francisco Mine in Sonora, Mexico, and the development-stage Ana Paula Project in Guerrero, Mexico.

At the Florida Canyon Mine, a Life of Mine Plan was completed with positive economics. The plan envisions a 9.8 year mine life with life of mine production totaling 734,000 ounces. A number of opportunities were identified that could increase production and lower costs including the restart of the past-producing Standard Mine which is adjacent to the Florida Canyon Mine.

The San Francisco Mine is currently only processing low-grade stockpiles which are expected to be depleted by the end of 2019 at which time the operation will go into residual leach.

Located within the highly prospective Guerrero Gold Belt on 56,000 hectares of under-explored land the Ana Paula Project is a high-grade, high margin project. All development work has been temporarily suspended as the Company focuses on improving its operations to generate cash flow.
